Obituary for Katherine A Savvas (Crotty)
Katherine A. Savvas (nee Crotty), of Hainesport, NJ, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, April 19th, 2021 at the age of 51 after a courageous yearlong battle with cancer.
Katherine was born and raised in Framingham, MA to the late Shaun and Barbara Curtis. She graduated number one in her major of Economics from Seton Hall University in 1991 with Magna Cum Laude honors. She resided in Hainesport, New Jersey with her husband Gary and her two sons Shaun and Matthew. Katherine worked as a Claims Manager for Farmers Insurance for many years. In her free time, Kathy loved to take pictures of her family, swim, and take long walks with her husband and the family dog, Cooper. She was a wonderful and supportive mother and loved going to her children’s sporting events.
Katherine is survived by her beloved husband, Gary Savvas Sr.; children Shaun and Matthew; step-children, Gary (Carrie) Savvas Jr. of Marlton Lakes, Nicole Savvas of Washington Township, and Danielle (Maurice) Vacca of Ocean Township; sister, Colleen Bruso; step-grandchildren, Hannah, Karly, and Ava; niece, Caroline; and nephew, James.
Family and friends are welcome to a visitation on Friday, April 23, 2021, from 4:00-7:00PM, at Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Rd, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054.
