Obituary for Kay Smith (Skordian)

Kay Smith (nee Skordian), age 89, of Mount Laurel, NJ passed away while surrounded by loving family in the comfort of her own home on Monday, October 12, 2020.

Mrs. Smith was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA and raised a family of her own in Willingboro, NJ before moving to Holiday Village East 20 years ago. She was a devoted member of Saint John Neumann RC Church in Mount Laurel and was an avid reader of the Philadelphia Inquirer. In her leisure, she enjoyed working on crossword puzzles and listening to sports radio. But above all, she cherished the time spent with family and will be deeply missed by those she leaves behind.

Kay was predeceased by her beloved spouse, Robert C. Smith; and her eight siblings. She is survived by her daughters, Karen D. Smith (Edward J. Sowney) and Kimberly S. Smith (Paul Sowney); grandchildren, Robert Dwyer, Brian Dwyer, Julia Sowney Siler (Chris), Colleen Sowney Nuttle, Paul Sowney Jr., Olivia Sowney (Mike), George Sowney; great-grandchildren, Lily, Owen, Judah, Ethan.
