Obituary for Leslie James "Les" Stevens

Leslie James Stevens, “Les”, age 78 of Mount Laurel, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on October 8, 2022.

Les was born on December 25, 1943 in Saint James, Minnesota to the late Esther and Paul Stevens. He was a kind and caring husband and father and would do anything for his loved ones. Les was a true gentleman and made friends wherever he went. He enjoyed golfing, pickleball, ping-pong, karaoke, country music and playing guitar. Les proudly served our country in the United States Air Force. He was a retired airplane mechanic for Northwest Airlines.

Les is predeceased by two brothers, Duane (Dianna) and Bruce.
Les is survived by his wife, Dolores (nee Caporelli); his children, Kelli Horta (Charles), Kevin (Jennifer), and Tara McGonigle (John); his siblings, Robert Stevens (the late Bonnie), Joan Paulson (the late Dean); 8 grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and his many golf buddies.

Relatives and friends are invited to Les’ viewing on Friday, October 14, 2022 from 6PM – 8PM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:00AM on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the Church of St. Isaac Jogues, 349 Evesboro-Medford Road, Marlton, New Jersey Interment private at the request of the family.
