Obituary for Lorraine "Lorie" Blanzola

Lorraine “Lorie” Blanzola, age 84, passed away on April 1, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Nanticoke, PA and was a former Willingboro, NJ resident before moving to Mount Laurel in 1989. She was a devout catholic, who was a member of the St. John Neumann Catholic Church. She was an active volunteer for St. John Neumann Church and Holiday Village, being on several different committees. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and following Philadelphia sports teams. Her true passion was teaching, she spent 36 years teaching across the USA and the last 30 was in the Willingboro School District. But above all else, she cherished spending as much time as she could with her family and friends.

Lorie was predeceased by her husbands, Nicholas Blanzola and Salvatore Siniscalchi. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl “Cherie” Blanzola and her adopted daughter Lora Martin; her siblings, Dorie Losito (Tony) and Leonard Margalski (Judy); her nieces, Sandy Schmoll, Theresa Rittenhouse and the late Judy Hassey and her nephews, Lee, Dean and Keith Margalski. Also survived by 9 grandnieces and nephews and 1 great grandniece, all of whom she loved with all her heart.

Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Tuesday April 6, 2021 from 9-11 am at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals 212 Ark Road Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Funeral Mass Tuesday April 6, 2021 at 11:30 am at St. John Neumann Church 560 Walton Ave. Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Interment is private.
