Obituary for Luz Maria Ortiz
Luz Maria Ortiz, age 77 of Riverside passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022.
Born in San Juan Puerto Rico, Luz was a kind and loving woman. Luz dedicated her life to her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved helping people and made friends wherever she went. Luz enjoyed cooking, crocheting, sewing and decorating her home that she was so proud of. Luz was a member of Active Day Delran and made cherished friends there. She will be missed deeply by her loved ones.
Luz is predeceased by her husband, Louis Ortiz and her siblings. Luz is survived by her children, Mary Lou Perry, Delia Reed, Marie Ortiz and Louis Ortiz; grandchildren, Heather Wolf, Grace Eckstrom, Christine Perry, Jessica Boulger, Brittany Meli, Charles Rowland, Joe Wawrzynski, Dominique Wawrzynski, Cory Reed, Cody Reed, Krysta Wilbank, Dillon Ortiz, Chloe Ortiz, Zoe Ortiz, Paige Ortiz and Peyton Ortiz; great-grandchildren, Parker Wolf, Lincoln Wolf, Eli Madden, Weston Eckstrom, Maddie Boulger, Ethan Boulger, Cia Meli, Antonia Meli and Maximus Meli.
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Monday, February 21, 2022 from 6PM-8PM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Funeral Service is scheduled for Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at 12PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ, where Luz will join her beloved husband Louis.
The Family is grateful for the excellent care Luz has received from Dr. David Altimore and his team at Deborah Heart and Lung Center over the years, and the final care of Virtua of Mount Holly.
