Obituary for Lydia E Torres
Lydia E. Torres, age 72, of Medford, New Jersey passed away on February 13, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Aibonito, Puerto Rico to the late Domingo and Ramona Negron. She has resided in South Jersey since 1975. She was a parishioner of Saint John Neumann Church and was very active in her faith. She was a eucharistic minister, involved in several groups that helped the parish grow and thrive and was also known as a prayer warrior. When she wasn’t working or devoting her time to the church, she cherished the time she spent with her family.
Lydia is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jose L. Torres Fuentes; her children, Joe Torres (Stacey) and Marisol Torres – Banegas (German). Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Family and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass on Friday, February 16th, 2024 at 11:00 AM from Saint Isaac Jogues Church 349 Evesboro-Medford Road Marlton, New Jersey 08053. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
