Obituary for Margaret Giannetti (Izzi)
Margaret Giannetti (nee Izzi) passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 23, 2022, at the age of 96.
Margaret was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Filomena and Constantino Izzi on April 2, 1926. She resided in Pennsauken, NJ for 30 years and later in Mount Laurel, NJ for 31 years. She resided at the Masonic Home in Burlington for the past 3 years. Margaret was strong in her faith to God. She was a homemaker for most of her life, but later went to work in a day care center spending her “Nanny” time with all the children. She devoted her life to her family, and especially her grand, great grand and great-great grandchildren. Margaret will be missed deeply by her loved ones.
Margaret is predeceased by her husband of over 60 years (Minteo) and her siblings (Gildo, Natalie, Elanor) and step-brother (Ralph). She is survived by her children, Lorraine Giannetti and Gary Giannetti (Margie); her grandchildren Jessica (Matthew), Derek (Molly) and Taylor; great-grandchildren Ridley, Lennon and Emma; and great-great grandchild, Haven. Margaret leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a viewing on Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 10AM-12PM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Interment and graveside service to follow at 1PM at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margaret’s memory to Masonic Village at Burlington, 902 Jacksonville Road, Burlington Twp., NJ 08016.
