Obituary for Margaret M. "Peg" Ojeda (McManus)
Margaret “Peg” M. Ojeda (nee McManus), age 77, of Mount Laurel, NJ passed away in the comfort of her own home while surrounded by loving family on Sunday, May 17, 2020.
Mrs. Ojeda was born in Philadelphia, PA and had resided in Lanham, MD and Springfield, PA before moving to Mount Laurel 36 years ago. She regularly attended church at both Saint John Neumann RC Church in Mount Laurel and Our Lady Queen of Peace RC Church in Hainesport, NJ. Peggy spent much of her life selflessly caring for and enriching the lives of others. She gave everything to the wellbeing, love and support of her children and grandchildren, and will be deeply missed by those she leaves behind.
Peggy was predeceased by her beloved spouse, Carlos R. Ojeda; sister, Elizabeth A. McManus; brother-in-law, William V. Waterman. She is survived by her children, James B. Ojeda (Rebecca), Rina M. Ojeda, Michael A. Ojeda (Jordan); sister, Mary E. Waterman; brother, Edward McManus (Eileen); brother-in-law, Antonio”baby cakes” Ojeda (Dalysha “Dawn”); grandchildren, Mya E. Cifaloglio, Ethan J. Ojeda, Olivia M. Ojeda, Miles Rae Ojeda; 10 nieces and nephews, 18 great-nieces and great-nephews; 1 great-great-niece; 1 great-great-nephew; best friend, Kathryn Holnick.
Out of concern for public health, a memorial mass will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions in Peggy’s name may be made to:
