Marian R. Coppola, 95, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2023 at Arbor Terrace, Mount Laurel, NJ.
Born in South Philadelphia to Marianna Margaret (Zardus) and Anthony Revello, she was the beloved mother of Mariana Humburger Pirri, devoted nonna to Robert (Megan) Pirri and Kristin Pirri and cherished great nonna to Mitchell, Margot and Marshall Pirri. She was predeceased by her parents, her husbands, Robert I.E. Humburger, Jr. and Edward J. Coppola, and siblings, Anthony, Jerome and Gennaro Revello and Rosemary Volpe. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and dear friend, Rev. Michael P. Lang.
Marian was a 1945 graduate of Philadelphia High School for Girls and worked for many years in secretarial positions and was a bank teller for Germantown Savings Bank, but she became a trail blazer in the late 60’s becoming the second woman Settlement Representative in Philadelphia or Commonwealth Land Title. Upon retirement, she organized all the trips for the residents of Holiday Village in Mount Laurel for over 31 years. She was a fabulous cook and loved feeding her family and friends, and she and Ed loved to travel and always enjoyed their trips to the casinos in AC.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 8:45AM-9:45AM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30AM at Resurrection Parish at Holy Name Church, 260 Conrow Road, Delran, NJ 08075. Interment Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ.
