Obituary for Mary Ann Alberti

MaryAnn Alberti (Nee Revell), age 83, passed away on May 28, 2021 in Moorestown, NJ surrounded by
her loving family.

She was born in Norfolk, VA to the late Grant and Antoinette Revell. MaryAnn attended Trinity College in
Washington DC and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in English. She taught in Portsmouth, VA then
married in 1960 and moved to Parris Island, SC where Paul served in the Navy as an Ensign, working in
the Medical Service Corps. She lived as a Navy wife for 4 years, and she and Paul had 3 children, Paul,
Karen, and Margaret. MaryAnn moved with her family to Willingboro, NJ. She worked for Garfield East
School in 5th grade for 20 years. She made a difference in many young lives during her teaching career.
She retired reluctantly in 1998 and began volunteering at Millbridge Elementary School in Delran, NJ
where she and her family had moved in 1975. She was a member of the Moorestown Garden Club and
enjoyed working at the Flower Shows and decorating homes in Strawberry Mansion, Philadelphia.
MaryAnn was a member of Brant Beach Yacht Club. MaryAnn loved to travel and she and her husband
toured many interesting places in the US and abroad. They especially enjoyed their river trips.

She was a resident of Delran for the past 46 years and a member of Resurrection Parish (Holy Name
Church), in Delran. MaryAnn was the beloved wife for 61 years of Paul L. Alberti. She was the loving
mother of Paul L. Alberti, Jr., Karen Jewell, and Margaret Miller. She was also the loving grandmother of
Michael, Peter and Rebecca Jewell, Theresa Miller, Tom Alberti and Marie Taber. She was the dear sister
of Grant Revell and the late Peggie Edwards. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren. She will be
deeply missed by all who loved her.

Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Wednesday June 2, 2021 from 9:30-10:30am
followed by her funeral mass at 11:00am, both at the Resurrection Parish (Holy Name Church) 260
Conrow Road Delran, NJ 08075. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Lumberton, NJ.
