Obituary for Mary Louise Coates (Tasca)
Mary Louise Coates, age 93, passed away on July 5, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Philadelphia, PA and has been a resident of Willingboro and Mount Laurel, NJ before moving to Franklinville, NJ. She was the secretary for Corpus Christi Parish and school in Willingboro, NJ for 20 years. She was the president for the PTA and was very active in her faith as well as the alter and rosary society. She was the caregiver to her siblings, children and especially her grandchildren throughout her life. In her free time, she enjoyed trips to the casinos and playing the penny slots, reading and crocheting, but most of all she cherished the time she spent with her family.
Mary was predeceased by her husband of 67 years, John James Coates, her daughter, Janet Yansick and her son in law William Stengel. She is survived by her children, James Coates (Nancy), June Stengel, John Coates (Kim) and Joann Coates; her son in law, Walter Yansick; her grandchildren, Justin, Joshua, Jacklin, Lauren, Jamie and Michael and her great grandchildren, Alivia, Lola, Malin, Kash and Jaylen.
Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Thursday from 9-10am followed by her funeral mass at 10am both at St. Andrew the Apostle Church 27 Kresson Gibbsboro Road Voorhees, NJ 08026. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
