Maxine Schultz, age 86, of Moorestown, NJ, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2023, surrounded by her three children.

Maxine was born on May 30, 1937 to the late Tillie and Morris Maniloff. Maxine grew up in the Oxford Circle section of Northeast Philadelphia.

She was always at the center of activities and could be found on the dance floor at parties. She especially enjoyed the music of Frank Sinatra, painting, shopping, and especially loved collecting pocketbooks. She loved spending time on the beach and boardwalk at Atlantic city. On election day, you could find her volunteering at the poles.  She loved helping others and volunteered at many organizations such as Jeans hospital for many years. She also worked at various Jewish organizations as an aide supporting children and teachers.

She had a big heart for her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and her cat’s. She will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by children, Elizabeth Lavertu, Adrienne and Paul Hopkins, Gregory and Karen Schultz; grandchildren, Aaron Schultz, Melissa Schultz, Allyson Lavertu, Matthew Finizio, Tara Hopkins, Daulton Hopkins, Paul Hopkins III; great grandchildren, Harrison Schultz, Kaylee Schultz, Damian Sauveur.

Funeral arrangements are private.
