Obituary for Melinda Garris
Melinda Garris, age 88, of Willingboro, NJ, transitioned to Heaven peacefully on Sunday December 26, 2021.
Melinda valued and loved her family; she was a wonderful wife, mother and caregiver to so many children. She was a very caring and kind spirited person who loved to praise dance, music and creating rhymes.
Melinda is predeceased by her beloved husband John Garris, son Randy Garris and her only sister, Mildred Kennedy. She is survived by her three daughter's , Turawana Outlaw, Sharon Morris and Abbey Washington many grandchildren, several great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and many other children she helped raise and took care of.
Family and friends are welcome to her Viewing on Friday, January 7, 2021 from 11:00-12:00PM, immediately following at 12:00 PM. Going Home Celebration of Life Service both will be held at Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Lumberton, NJ.
