Obituary for Melissa Lyn Potts
Melissa L. Potts, age 40, of Mount Laurel, NJ, passed away on December 21, 2022.
Melissa was born on June 19, 1982 to the late Helen Guyon (nee Fosco) and Richard Potts in Willingboro, NJ. She was a graduate of Cherokee High School and has her Bachelors Degree from Felician College. Melissa was a junior loan officer at Freedom Mortgage in Mount Laurel. She was an avid Phillies and Eagles fan. Melissa enjoyed country music, karaoke and line dancing with her friends. She also loved cats. Melissa will be missed deeply by her loved ones.
Melissa is predeceased by her mom, Helen Guyon and her step-dad Ed Guyon. She is survived by her dad, Richard A. Potts; her sisters, Cheryl Vance (Rick), Karen Spink (Jim), and Kathleen Elko; step-siblings, Heather and Edward; Uncle George Potts (Helen) and their children Ashley and George, III; nephews, Sean (Evan), Ryan, Dylan, Jake. Melissa leaves behind many friends and colleagues.
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 10:30AM-12:30PM immediately followed by her Funeral Service at 12:30PM both at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals 212 Ark Road Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Interment Eldridge Cemetery, Mount Laurel, NJ.
