Obituary for Mervin Pfau

Mervin E. Pfau, age 73, of Mount Laurel, NJ passed away peacefully in the comfort of his own home on Wednesday, November 23, 2016. Mr. Pfau was born in Washington, D.C. and had lived in Beirut Lebanon, Frankfurt Germany, Rome Italy and Cinnaminson, NJ before moving to Mount Laurel in 1985. He served his country honorably in the US Navy for seven years. Mervin proudly sailed the sea’s On the USS Cavalla (SS-244), USS Snook (SSN-592) and the USS Lapon (SSN-661) respectively. Mervin was an avid fan of college football and Nascar racing and also made general exercise and daily activity a priority. Above all else though, he enjoyed spending time with his family. Mervin was a very proud, private man who never asked for help, but would always offer his assistance to others. Mervin was predeceased by his parents, Harold W. and Camilla G. Pfau. He is survived by his siblings, Glenn A. Pfau, Arthur Pfau, Judith Pfau, Linda Parker, Janet Fickeissen; his nieces and nephews Anthony H. Pfau, Allison M. Pfau, Sharon Fickeissen, David Parker, Ryan Parker, Anthony J. Pfau and Madison V. Pfau. Mervin is also survived by many cousins. A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 16, at 11:00 AM, at Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson, NJ.
