Nicholas C. Bertuccio “Nick”, age 29, returned to Spirit on November 17, 2022, in Palmyra, NJ.

Nick was born on March 21, 1993, to loving parents Patricia Costa and Paul Bertuccio, Jr. in Washington Township, NJ.
He is survived by his Mother, Patti Costa; Father, Paul Bertuccio Jr.; Grandmother, Margaret Bertuccio; Brother, Nieko DeFilippis; Sister, Samantha Blom; Uncle Sam and Aunt Pam (Costa); Aunt Margie and Uncle Frank (Gatti); Aunt Sissy (Costa); Aunt Jean and Uncle Don (Bereheiko) and many, many cousins, and dear friends.
Nick is predeceased by his Grandparents, Fortunata “Nettie” and Samuel “Sam” Costa Sr.; Grandfather Paul Bertuccio Sr.; Aunt Donamarie (Costa); and Uncle Jim (Bertuccio).

Nick received his certifications as a Personal Trainer and Nutrition Coach from the National Academy of Sports Medicine and ran a successful online coaching business, Bertuccio Coaching Services. He also did in-person training and was loved and respected by all his clients. Nick was determined and positive and would do anything for anyone; he was the first to help both strangers and friends whether you needed an empathetic ear, help with your car or moving… If he came upon a stranded driver or an accident, Nick did not drive by; he was out of his car helping wherever he could. He was motivated and spiritual; he believed that with a positive mindset, radical self-responsibility, hard work and determination anyone could achieve their goals. He strived to be better every day, up well before the sun, meditating, reading from his endless collection of inspirational books, taping content and out the door for sunrise cardio and on to the gym. Nick was an expert in his field and had a wealth of knowledge on fitness and nutrition, but his favorite thing was mindset coaching, helping people overcome their obstacles and believe in themselves. He wrote music and played the guitar and in his younger years could be found regularly at local open-mic nights. Later he traveled the country for EDM festivals with treasured friends, his “Cuddle Puddle Fam” and was particularly fond of the artist Illenium. He loved to travel and especially enjoyed California and the Pismo beach area where it was his intention to someday live. Nick grew up In Riverside and has many friends in the area whose lives he touched. From a very young age Nick was confident, did not back down from a challenge and spoke his mind freely to both peers and adults…there are many Nick stories…. To know Nick, “Nicholas” to his mom, was to love him and he will be deeply missed by so many.

We love you!!! We know you’re watching over us and we will see you on the other side…
