Obituary for Nicholas Anthony Manocchio Jr.

Colonel Nicholas A. Manocchio, Jr., (USAF RET), age 88, passed away on June 23, 2021 surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Syracuse, NY to the late Nicholas, Sr and Palma Manocchio. He was a former resident of Edgewater Park, NJ before moving to Burlington, NJ. Nicholas proudly served his country and retired as a Colonel in the US Air Force. He is a master mason with the Mt. Moriah #28 F&AM. He was the past president of the Rotary Club in Willingboro, NJ. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed working out and playing Bocce Ball but most of all cherished the time he spent with his family.

He is predeceased by his son Mark A. Manocchio. Nicholas is survived by his wife of 67 years, Virginia A. Manocchio (nee Lesniak); his sons, Nicholas A., III, Lance A, Sr. (Debbie) and David John (Barbara). He is also survived by 9 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Thursday July 1, 2021 from 10am to 12 pm immediately followed by his service both at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals 212 Ark Road Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Interment and Military Honors will be at Lakeview Cemetery at 1pm.
