Obituary for Norma Underkoffler (Schoenfeld)
Norma S. Underkoffler, age 89, of Medford, formerly of Mount Laurel, passed away peacefully on November 13, 2022.
Norma was born on November 14, 1932 to the late Marie and William Schoenfeld in Philadelphia, PA. She devoted her life to her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She was a member of the Mount Laurel Women’s Club and the Mount Laurel Garden Club and she volunteered at Hillside School. She worked as an office manager for a psychiatrist. Norma graduated from Drexel University and a had a memorable trip when she travelled to Europe with her college friends. Norma had a wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed laughing and spending time with her loved ones. She was an avid reader, knitter, loved the Jersey Shore, music, watching birds, and gardening. Norma will be missed deeply by her friends and family.
Norma is predeceased by her husband, Robert. She is survived by her children, Scott Underkoffler and Tracy Decker (CJ); her sister, Mary Naughton (the late Jack); grandchildren, Wesley Decker, Kaitlin Toomey (Dakota); great-grandchildren, Adalynn and Jackson.
Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Friday, November 18, 2022 from 5PM- 6PM at the Mount Laurel Funeral Home, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Funeral service to follow at 6PM. Interment private at the request of the family.
