Obituary for Rashi Ejaz "Rush" Khokhar

Rashi "Rush" Ejaz Khokhar of Willingboro passed away unexpectedly into God's loving arms on Monday, June 20, 2022.

He was a devoted Father, Son, Brother, Uncle, Cousin, Pediatric Nurse and friend to many. He was known as a jokester by his family and friends, always bringing a smile and making everyone laugh regardless of what he was going through. The light of his world, was his son, Elisha, whom he loved spending time with. If you knew Rush, he was always down for a debate, whether it was about Biblical views, politics, cars, you name the topic, and he always was prepared to have a discussion. He enjoyed writing poetry and spoken word and even competed in and won a few contests. Ever since he was young, Rush was always giving, from giving driving lessons to his cousins, Mina, Michelle, and Tara, to preparing his famous butter chicken, Rush would give the shirt off of his back for those he loved. Rush also enjoyed going to the movies with his son, playing basketball with his brother-in-laws, cooking, spending time with his family and traveling. He was actively pursuing his BSN and enjoyed his career as a nurse, eager to learn.

Rashi is survived by his son (Elisha), parents (Ejaz and Raina), sisters (Raveena and Sarah), brothers-in-law (Ryan and Andrew), nephew (Elias), a niece on the way, grandparents (Mushtaq and Naziran) as well as extended family and many dear friends.

Although his loss is sudden and heavy, we rejoice in the fact that Rush knew Christ's saving grace, and because of that, we look forward to seeing him when the trumpet blows! We know there is no better place he could be than in God's loving arms. We love you Rush!

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday, June 25, 2022 from 11am to 12PM at the Fountain of Life Center, 2035 Columbus Road, Burlington, NJ 08016, immediately followed by his funeral service at 12 Noon. Interment will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Burlington, NJ at 2pm.
