Obituary for Raymond Ronald Sawadzki Sr.
Raymond R. Sawadzki, Sr., age 72, of Browns Mills, NJ passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023.
Raymond was born and raised in Trenton, NJ and resided in Browns Mills for over 49 years. Ray was an extremely hardworking man, sometimes working two jobs for his family. He was a dedicated and valued employee of DC Fabricators for many years in Florence, NJ. Outside of work, he could always be counted on to lend a hand to his family and friends in need, whether that be home projects or car repairs. Ray will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Ray is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Cheryl Sawadzki (née McDonald); sons, Raymond R. Sawadzki, Jr. (Kristine), and Jonathan R. Sawadzki (Mandy); siblings, Loretta Gilbert (Wayne), and Jimmy Stevens (Dee); grandchildren, Erin, RJ, Aubree, and Quinn Sawadzki; and his cherished dog, Isabelle.
In his free time, Ray enjoyed visiting the shore at Stone Harbor, NJ and deep sea fishing. He derived joy in spending time with his family and felt great pride for all of his grandchildren, whom he was happy to watch grow up and be present for at all birthdays, recitals, and holidays. Ray always appreciated the simple things in life: a good cup of coffee, a baseball cap, Italian cuisine, and backyard barbeques with family at his home.
Friends and relatives are invited to his viewing on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 5:30-7:30PM, at Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Rd, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054. Interment will be private.
