Robert M. Galaida “Rob”, age 54, of Mt. Laurel, NJ passed away peacefully at home on May 30, 2023.

Rob was born on November 25, 1968 to the late Judith and Michael in Perth Amboy, NJ. Not long after graduating from Rider University, he began working for JP Morgan Chase where he remained in various roles for 30 years. He was a resident of Mount Laurel for the last 20 years.

Rob is survived by his sons Mike and Nick Galaida; his friend and sons’ mom Jackie Galaida; aunt and uncle Marilyn and Ron Tankiewicz; cousins Jaime, Adam, Bill, Melissa and their children; his closest friend Jim King; and a very important group of dear friends from his days at Rider and Chase.

Rob devoted his life to his sons, loved watching them participate in all of their sporting endeavors and was their biggest supporter on and off the field. He was an avid New York Yankees and New York Giants fan who could always be counted on for a lively discussion about his teams or their rivals, especially the Mets and Eagles. Rob will be deeply missed by his loved ones.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation to celebrate Rob’s life on Sunday, June 11, 2023 from 11AM-12PM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Memorial service to follow at 12PM.
