Obituary for Robert Herr
Robert W. Herr “Bob”, age 59 of Mount Laurel, NJ, devoted husband to Laura, and loving father to Kara, departed this world on October 3rd, 2021.
Bob was born on November 3, 1961, in Pennsauken, NJ to parents Ivan and Patricia Herr. He graduated from Pennsauken High School in 1980 and went on to study Economics at Rutgers University. After graduation, his job at Jimmy Dean Foods kickstarted a 30+ year career as a Regional Sales Manager in the Food Retail Industry.
In his free time, Bob enjoyed traveling to national parks and visiting his daughter in San Diego. In the summer months, Bob enjoyed surfing at the Jersey Shore with his daughter, niece, and nephews.
Preceded by his parents Ivan and Patricia Herr, Bob will be remembered by his wife Laura, daughter Kara, sister Barbara Dritschel (David), brother John Herr (Carolyn), Mother-In-Law Ann Bannar, In-Laws Lisa Smith(Steve Teti) Carl Bannar(Darlene) and many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life service for Bob on November 20th, 2021, at the Mount Laurel Funeral Home (212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel NJ, 08054).
Visitation will be held 12-2 PM, followed by a Memorial Service 2-2:30 PM and reception to follow.
