Robert Press, 84, of Browns Mills, New Jersey passed away on August 31, 2023. 

Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Robert was raised in Jericho, Deptford, NJ. and a resident of Browns Mills since 1972.  He proudly served in the United States Air Force from 1958 - 1978 and after retiring, continued serving his country in the civil service at McGuire Air Force Base.  He was a member of the American Legion in Pemberton, the VFW Browns Mills and the American Gold Wings Association.

With his amazing sense of humor, it was easy for Robert to be outgoing...even flirtatious.  He was the life of the party and his big personality entered the room before he did.  Robert was a jack of all trades; he was always tinkering with something.  Robert enjoyed hunting and roller skating, but riding his motorcycle was his passion.  He was his girls biggest fan and coached their softball teams.  Robert "lived to eat"...he would try anything and everything.  If you were part of Robert's crowd, you knew his love for cooking and grilling and you were lucky enough to share in some good times!

Beloved husband of 62 years to Bridget N. (nee Fowler); loving father of Diana Press and Pauline Press; devoted granddaddy of Wendell Jr. (Veronica), Robert (Sarah), Ciara (Daniel) and great granddaddy of Devonte, Maximus "Max", Kingston, Layla, Harlow and soon to arrive, Mason; dear brother of Barbara (John), Sheila, James III (Betty) and Pamela.  Robert is survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends and predeceased by his mother, Pauline Marie Press.                            .

Relatives and friends are invited to Robert's visitation on Friday, September 15, 2023, 10:00 - 11:00 AM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ where the Memorial Ceremony will follow at 11:00 AM.  Interment at 1:30 PM in Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veteran Cemetery, Wrightstown, NJ.
