Obituary for Robert M. Radano

After a rich and rewarding life blessed with laughter and love, Robert M. (Bob) Radano, of Mt. Laurel, entered into eternal life on Saturday, April 2, 2022. He was 73.

Born in 1949, Bob was the son of the late Joseph and Thelma (nee Nelson) Radano. He was raised in Collingdale and Stratford, and attended St. Joseph’s Prep and Sterling High School. He earned a degree from Villanova University where he met the love of his life, Jacquelyn (Belfi). They were married for nearly 50 years and raised two children: Jennifer (Sean) and Michael.

Professionally, Bob was respected and admired as a leader who helped build a billion-dollar company. He started with J&J Snack Foods Corp. in 1972, where he worked for 49 years, and retired as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

Personally, Bob derived his greatest pride and joy from his family and friends. He was a devoted husband, father, brother and friend. Bob was known for his sense of humor, generosity and “boat rides” during the summers in Ocean City, NJ.

Bob was predeceased by his brother Joseph “Sonny” and his sister, Arlene. He is survived by his wife, Jacquelyn; children, Jennifer (Sean) and Michael; brother Nicholas Radano (Cynthia); in-laws, Patrice and Mark Young and Arthur and Deborah Belfi.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that those who are in a position to do so make a donation to a charity of their own choosing.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 from 10AM – 12PM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. A memorial service will follow at 12PM.
