Obituary for Roman Jude Young
Roman J. Young, age 9, of Douglassville, PA passed away suddenly on Thursday, September 8th, 2022.
Roman was born in Dover, DE to parents David and Michele Young, and has been raised in Douglassville. Roman loved the outdoors, going camping and backpacking, and helping his father with his projects. He was also active in lacrosse and wrestling. Roman loved animals, especially sea turtles and listening to music. He loved having conversations with adults and had friends of all ages. He is very loved and extremely missed.
Roman is survived by his parents, David and Michele; brother Collin Young; grandparents, Karen and John Kennedy, and David Jr. and Deborah Young; aunts and uncles, John Kennedy (Meg), Michael Kennedy (Patty), Jeffrey Kennedy (Barb), Jennifer Schneeman, Linnea Imholte (Joel), Jeannie Bennett (Craig), and Josh Young; and his many loving cousins.
Relatives and friends are welcome to a visitation on Friday, September 16th, 2022 from 10:00-11:00AM, followed immediately by a Funeral Mass. Both will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 103 4th St, Riverton, NJ 08077. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, because Roman had so many interests and found joy in so many things, please choose an organization that has a special meaning to you and donate in his memory.
