Obituary for Rose Lucy Tamburello (Marcello)
Rose L. Tamburello (nee Marcello), age 103, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 4, 2021.
Rose was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Valentino and Rosaria Marcello. She devoted her life to her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a very loving and strong woman. Rose was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening, and crocheting. She will be missed deeply by her loved ones.
Rose is predeceased by her husband of 73 years, Salvatore Tamburello, her son, Nicholas Tamburello (Sharon) and 3 of her brothers and 2 sisters.
She is survived by her children, Thomas Tamburello (Patricia) and Charles Tamburello; sister, Anna LoCicero; 6 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; former daughter-in-law Donna Tamburello, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to her viewing on Monday, September 13, 2021 from 8:30-9:30AM, at Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Rd, Mt Laurel, NJ 08054. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00AM, at St. Isaac Jogues, 3 Lord Place, Evesham, NJ 08053. Entombment at St. Charles Cemetery, East Farmingdale, NY.
