Obituary for Rudolph Raymond "Rudy" Colantino

Rudolph “Rudy” Colantino, age 94, passed away on September 10, 2019 in Marlton, NJ.

Rudy was born and raised in South Philadelphia and has been a resident of Mount Laurel for 20 years. In his early years, he enjoyed playing the saxophone and was part of a band that played wedding receptions and social events. He was a production control manager for American Can Company for 40 years before retiring in 1985. After retirement, in his free time he played bocce ball and enjoyed walking around the neighborhood and chatting with his buddies. Mostly, he loved spending time with his family, especially around the dinner table eating his favorite Italian food.

Rudy was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Colantino. He is survived by his daughters, Maria R. Colantino and Dorothy Nolan and son-in-law Greg; his grandchildren, Gregory Nolan (Sarah) and Robert Nolan (Rachel); his great grandchildren, Bobby, Levi, Noelle, Elijah and Maeve. Also survived by his sister, Rose Public.

Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Saturday September 14, 2019 from 9-10am immediately followed by his Funeral Mass, both at St. John Neumann Church 560 Walton Ave. Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wiley Home Auxiliary Fund, 99 E Main St, Marlton, NJ 08053.
