Obituary for Samuel Nicholas Nasife Sr.

Samuel Nicholas Nasife Sr., age 75, of Berlin, NJ passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 30, 2020.

Mr. Nasife was born in Camden, NJ on August 17, 1945, was raised in Pennsauken, NJ and later moved to Tabernacle, NJ in 1985 with his family. Sam graduated from Pennsauken High School, attended Temple University where he graduated with a B.A. Education in 1967. Sam loved teaching and was well respected by his students and colleagues. He spent 39 years teaching science in the Willingboro School System and retired in 2006. Sam enjoyed reading, telling stories, outdoors, target shooting, traveling, was an avid dog lover and above all, spending time with his beloved family and friends and his dog, Kirbee.

Sam is survived by his wife of 49 years, Dolores Nasife; three sons, Samuel Nasife Jr. (Josie), Todd Nasife (Nagima) and Brett Nasife (Erin); two sisters, Kathleen Nasife Gallagher and Carol Schuenemann; four grandchildren, Caitlin, River, Luiza and Jacob; Aunt Grace Nasife and Uncle Louis Nasife, numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and good friend and companion Lori Binczewski. He was predeceased by his parents Nicholas and Frances Nasife.

A visitation will be held on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 1:00pm – 2:00pm immediately followed by a memorial service, both at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ.
