Obituary for Sandra Jean Higgins (Rockey)
Sandra Jean Higgins, age 65, passed away on February 4, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Philadelphia to the late Robert and Shirley Rockey. She was a former resident of Levittown before moving to Lumberton, NJ 28 years ago. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church in Mount Holly, NJ. Sandra worked for Ernst and Young for 40 years and in her free time, she enjoyed swimming, trips to Wildwood, NJ and running in Marathons. She cherished the time she spent with her family and friends.
Sandra is survived by her husband of 46 years, Michael W. Higgins; her son, Michael William Higgins (Destinee); her grandson, Nathaniel Higgins; her siblings, Donna Bernath (Bruce), Gail Bilotta (Ronnie) and Robert Rockey. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing on Friday, February 9, 2024 from 9:30 – 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church 260 High Street Mount Holly, NJ 08060. Her funeral mass will immediately follow at 10:30 AM. Interment is private.
