Obituary for Sandra Elizabeth Holmes (Vance)
Sandra E. Holmes, age 66, of Mount Laurel, NJ passed away suddenly on Saturday, October 15, 2022.
Sandra was born in Okinawa, Japan to the late Thomas and Elsie Vance, and has resided in Mt. Laurel for over 60 years. For many years, Sandra worked as a bus driver for the Burlington County Special Services School District. She was also a long-time member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. In her free time, Sandra enjoyed going to the casinos, and spending time with her cats. But above all else, she loved spending time with her family; especially her grandchildren and great-granddaughters.
Sandra is survived by her beloved husband of 26 years, Bruce Holmes; her children, Rachel Brophy and James Brophy (Sharon); step-daughter, Ashley Gupta-Holmes; grandchildren, Alexis Brophy, Nevaeh Sutton, Xavier Brophy, Gabrielle Brophy, and Aami Gupta-Holmes; and her great-granddaughters, August Beltran and Lily Beltran.
Relatives and friends are welcome to a visitation on Saturday, October 22, 2022, from 1:00-3:00PM, followed immediately by a memorial service at 3:00PM. Both will be held at Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Rd, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054.
