Santo D. Celia, age 56, of Lumberton, NJ, previously of Edgewater Park, NJ, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2023 with his loved ones by his side.

Santo was born on August 26, 1966 to Sonia and Santo M. Celia in Philadelphia, PA.  He was a loving and caring man that dedicated his life to his family.  As a musician, Santo sang, played acoustic, electric, and bass guitar, and piano.  He greatly enjoyed playing music on stage and sharing his passion for music with others.  Santo was an avid Eagles, Phillies, and Sixers fan. He also enjoyed meteorology and astronomy.  He loved spending time outside detailing his cars and walking and playing with his dogs. He will be missed deeply by his loving family, friends, and neighbors.

Santo is predeceased by his brother, Stephen M. Celia, his father-in-law, Casper J. Boni, and his sister-in-law Mariella Boni.  He is survived by his loving wife of over 30 years, Lisa A. (nee Boni); his parents, Santo M. and Sonia J. Celia; his beloved and only daughter, Gina Lee Celia (Elia Palmese); brothers, Sean M. Celia (Lynn) and Scott F. Celia (Dr. Poonam Mashru); mother-in-law, Annette Boni; brother-in-law, Dr. Joseph Boni (Dr. Lynn); sisters-in-law, Annette Craig (Kenneth), Frances DiGioacchino (Kenneth), and Mary Viscidy (Drew); and nephews and nieces, Sean Celia, Jake Celia, Karina Celia, Dr. Vittoria Boni, Massimo Boni, Jessica Craig, Olivia Craig, Drew Viscidy, Christina Viscidy, John DiGioacchino and Nicholas DiGioacchino.

Relatives and friends are welcome to pay their respects on Sunday, February 19, 2023 from 4PM-7PM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054.  A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 20, 2023 at 11AM at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 1603 Marne Highway, Hainesport, NJ 08036.  Interment will follow at Park View Cemetery at Kirby’s Mill, Medford, NJ.
