Sharon Elizabeth Henry, of Egg Harbor Twp., NJ, age 65, passed away at University of Pennsylvania on December 30th, 2020.
Sharon was born in Camden, NJ to the late Thomas G. and Anna E. Kerrigan. She was the caregiver to her family, taking care of her brother and mother. Sharon was employed by Atlantic City Medical Center as a respiratory therapist. Her career there spanned 30 years, the last 15 as Manager of the Respiratory Department at the Mainland and City campuses. Sharon received her bachelor’s degree from Widener University and also became one of the few Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist in New Jersey,
She enjoyed traveling, going to Ocean City, NJ and participating in her daughter’s sporting events. But above all, she cherished the time she spent with her family. Always one to start conversations Sharon would say "I've never met a stranger" and that was so true. She brought smiles to everyone she met with her infectious laughter.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Thomas Patrick Kerrigan, Clancy Michael Kerrigan and Colleen Kerrigan. She is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Jim Henry; her daughter, Colleen Henry; her siblings, Kellie Kiefner (Anthony) and Kerry Kerrigan. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
