Obituary for Shen Chi Liu
Shen Chi Liu, aged 91, passed away in Mount Laurel, NJ, on Friday, January 22, 2021.
Shen was born in Xuzhou, China, on July 21, 1930 to the late Dr. Yangwen Liu and Wu. He had lived in Mount Laurel for 30 years and was a former resident of Cherry Hill, NJ.
Shen was a devout Christian and served as the head deacon at South Jersey Christian Church. He later joined Cherry Hill Chinese Christian Church in 2012 and was a beloved member of that community. Shen loved God and strived all his life to live as a faithful person of integrity who puts his belief into action. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather to his family and a caring friend to all who knew him. He will be dearly missed.
Shen is survived by his wife of 53 years Pei Liang Chou; children William (Shirley), Mac (Melissa); and grandchildren Olivia, Nami, and Kyra.
In keeping with the COVID-19 pandemic safety guidelines, Shen’s viewing and interment were requested to be private. A memorial service will be held online at a later date. Shen was interred at Locustwood Memorial Park in Cherry Hill, NJ on Wednesday, January 27, 2021.
Shen’s family wishes to thank his friends and fellow church members for their caring and loving support. Through them, he saw God’s love and affirmation of his faith.

因疫情原因，後事一切從簡。父親已于二零二一年一月二十七日安葬在美國新澤西州櫻桃山鎮Locustwood Memorial Park 公墓。追思禮拜將隨後在網上舉行。
