Stephone Tyrone Terrell was born August 31st 1962 in Newark, New Jersey to the late Walter Terrell and Christine D Waters. He was the youngest of his three siblings. He attended Newark Public Schools where he then graduated from Barringer High School in 1980. He was baptized at Clearview Baptist Church in Newark, NJ at a young age. Stephone worked for the Newark Board of Education for over 20 years. Stephone married his highschool sweetheart Deborah (Carter) Terrell, lovingly known as "Peach and Babe". Stephone died at home with his wife by his side.

He was proceeded in death by his mother Christine, his father Walter, his brother Brian and his sister Janet. He leaves to mourn his loving and devoted wife Deborah and their four children Steven (Shana), Nicole (Eric), Gabriel (Steffi) and David, his seven grandchildren Mekhi (Nick), Kyle, Santana, Nova, Gianna, Naya Shine, Gabriella and Eric Jr. (his little football). A mother and father in-law Dave and Delores Carter. Three sister in-laws Sarah Curry, Jennifer Younger, Dalenta Carter, his brother in-law Jerome Curry and a host of nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are invited to Stephone's viewing on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 from 12PM - 1:30PM at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Funeral service will follow at 1:30PM. Interment will be private in Virginia at a later date.
