Obituary for Steven Albert Aboloff
Steven A. Aboloff, age 61, of Marlton, NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 17, 2022.
Steven was born in Philadelphia, PA to the late Jules Aboloff and Winifred Comer, and was raised in Cherry Hill, NJ before residing in Marlton, NJ for over 33 years. He graduated from Cherry Hill East High School in 1979, and went on to further his education at Rutgers University, Class of 1983, and Pace University, where he got his law degree in 1986. Steven was a South Jersey attorney for over 24 years and solicitor for the Evesham and Delran Fire Departments. He was also a member of the New Jersey and Burlington County Bar Associations. In his free time, Steven enjoyed coin and stamp collecting, traveling, and watching his favorite Philadelphia sports teams. He was a loving and caring man to all of his family. Steven was also active at his synagogue, Adath Emanu-El, in Mount Laurel, NJ. He was very much loved and will be missed by many.
Steven is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Cheryl R. Aboloff (nee Brown); children, Justin H. Aboloff, and Jessica M. Aboloff (and future son-in-law Yevgeniy Zelondzhev); siblings, Mindi Aboloff, Lisa (Henry) Greenspan, Steven (Lisa) Brown, Julie (Harvey) Steinmetz, and Martin Brown; nieces and nephews Josh (Stephanie) Rosenbluth, Melissa Greenspan, Gabrielle Greenspan, Alyssa Steinmetz and Sam Brown; as well as grand-pup Misha.
Relatives and friends are welcome to a visitation on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 10AM to 11AM and his service immediately following at 11AM. Both will be held at Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054. Interment will follow at Crescent Memorial Park Cemetery, 7349 Westfield Ave, Pennsauken Township, NJ 08110.
