Obituary for Susan G. Hawley
Susan Hawley, "Susie", a native of Montclair, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 1, 2023.
The daughter of Elmer Hawley and Virginia Hawley, she attended Montclair High School and began her professional career dedicated to serving the senior citizens at Walpan Residence in Montclair, New Jersey. She later settled down in South Jersey where she continued to positively impact families during her time working at Oaks Integrated Care by distributing meals and clothing to numerous families in need. She was a devoted mom of four and was known as a giver, always looking out for those around her. Susan was a God fearing woman, passionate in her beliefs and often enjoyed attending services with her children at the Fountain of Life Center in Burlington, New Jersey.
She is survived by her four children, Talia, Kyle, Tiffany and Nicholas; granddaughter, Jesiana; sister, Gloria; grand-dog Jersey; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in eternal rest by her brother Thomas; and her beloved dog T'la.
Susan lived a life of love and helping others.
At the request of the family, there will not be a funeral service.
