Susanne Thomson (nee Wallentin), of Marlton, NJ passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was 84 years old.
Mrs. Thomson was born in Hollomnitz, Czech Republic to Michael and Judita Wallentin (nee Neupauer). For the past 20 years, she resided in her current home in Marlton. Mrs. Thomson was the co-owner of the Dutch Nursery & Landscaping Center, in Pennsauken, NJ. She was of the Lutheran faith and an aficionado of German culture, and she was a member of the Germania Maennerchor organization. In her spare time, she also enjoyed playing cards and Pinochle, cooking and baking, and gardening.
Mrs. Thomson was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leonard Frederick Thomson; her son, Leonard Michael Thomson; and her sister, Judita Depenbrock. Surviving are her daughters, Susan Yung (Craig) and Karen Day (Bernard); her sister, Anne Lotter; her grandchildren, Michelle and Christopher Day; and her best friend, Anni Kettelhake.
Interment will take place at Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill, NJ. Out of concern for public safety, a Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
