Obituary for Thomas J. Angelini

Thomas John Angelini, aged 82, left this world on December 18, 2023 peacefully after a long illness.  For the last 23 years he had made his home in Fawn Lakes in Manahawkin, New Jersey.

Thomas was born and raised in Trenton, NJ (Chambersburg section) by his loving late parents, Livio and Helen Angelini, where he attended Catholic school and St. Joachim's Church.  He resided with his sister, the late Roberta Witkowski and brother Christopher Angelini.  Thomas also lived for a time in Florida and Kentucky and studied Chemistry in college.  He retired from working many years at AT&T in the software department.

Thomas had many interests including oil painting, art, and cooking.  He enjoyed collecting recipes and sharing them, especially ethnic and Old World Italian specialties.  Thomas enjoyed fine dining with his family and had several favorite restaurants on LBI and in South Jersey.

Thomas is survived by his niece Susan Dierkes Leedom (nee Witkowski) (David Leedom) of Moorestown, NJ and nephew David Witkowksi of Trenton.  Thomas was beloved and will be remembered for his great generosity towards his surviving great nephew Nathan Dierkes of Newport News, VA (Michelle Covey Dierkes) and great nieces, Maryellen Dierkes and Rebecca (Becky) Dierkes.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Jesus, Bread of Life Mausoleum in Mount Laurel, New Jersey, and all friends and family are invited.

Donations are appreciated in Thomas Angelini's name and can be sent to the American Lung Association.
