Obituary

Timothy F. Donovan, Sr., age 59, passed away on August 12, 2020, surrounded by his loving family.

Timothy was born in Philadelphia, PA, and was a resident of Willingboro, NJ, before moving to Westampton, NJ, in 1988. He worked as an X-ray Service Technician for many years. You could always find Timothy working on his well-manicured lawn, cheering on the Philadelphia sports teams, especially the Eagles, or enjoying muscle cars. But above all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Diane Donovan (nee Iarossi); two children, Timothy Donovan, Jr. (Melanie Pongracz), and Rebecca Donovan (George Stayton); grandchildren, Colton, Wayne, Delilah; siblings, Thomas Donovan, Sr. (Janet), Susan Gravenstine (Chuck Mullen), Christine Hartman, John Donovan (Sue), and Rob Donovan (Lori); and many nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend his memorial celebration of life on Saturday, August 22nd, from 1-4PM, at the family’s residence. Interment will be private.

Tim was an excellent soccer player, and a great teammate. I believe Tin was the third man in the scrum when I was sucker punched in the eye during one of our WHS soccer matches. I will always remember Tim smile and let’s face it, He would have been voted “Best Hair” on the team. If Chris Snyder is out there, please console him. He would have been runner-up!

My sincere prayers to his wife and family. May the Good Lord hold you and surround you all with a hedge of protection, and give you the strength that you need during this time.

May you find comfort in God’s promise at Revelation 21:3,4. “God himself will be with them.
And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes and death will be no more, neither will mourning
nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things has passed away.”
