Todd M. Vozdovic, 50, of Perth Amboy, NJ, fell asleep in the Lord on Monday, November 9th 2020, surrounded by family.
Todd was born in Johnson City, NY, grew up mainly in Medford, NJ; and spent his adult life around New Brusnwick, NJ, most recently in Perth Amboy, NJ. He was a graduate of Rutgers, New Brunswick, and additionally completed several programs related to the graphic arts industry and golf course management. His career started in graphic arts but then followed his true passion into the golf industry, working at several prestigious country clubs in North Jersey in the food and beverage management field.
Todd had a gift of making friends easily and whether behind the bar, in the kitchen or on the golf course, everyone knew his name and enjoyed his company. He loved to be on the course and was most happy playing with friends or completing a foursome with strangers, and was an avid Philadelphia sports teams fan. He had an amazing group of friends, who loved him like family.
Family always came first. He was a loving and dedicated son, especially supporting his mother during his father’s illness and after his passing, bringing flowers, helping around the house and going on trips. Although he lost most of the many many childhood games played with his older sister (who cheated), they grew up to become cherished siblings, and he was an amazing Uncle.
Todd is survived by his beloved mother, Diane (Matson) Vozdovic, his adoring sister, Lee Ann Vozdovic, his brother-in-law, Stephen Detwiler, his favorite nephews Ethan Detwiler and his wife Megan Pluymers, and Brendan Detwiler, along with his Aunts Helen Galus and Anna Perrault, as well as cousins and many many friends, old and new. He is predeceased by his father, Raymond Vozdovic.
There will be a viewing at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel on Sunday, November 15, 2020 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM. A viewing will also be held on Monday, November 16th at the Orthodox Church of the Holy Cross, Medford, NJ, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM, with funeral services at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Park View Cemetery at Kirby’s Mill, Medford NJ.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Todd's name can be made to the American Cancer Society.
