Obituary for Virginia Mary Villy (Sanders)
Virginia "Ginger" Mary Villy (nee Sanders), 83, of Mount Laurel, New Jersey, passed away on February 12, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.
Born and raised in the Cramer Hill section of Camden, New Jersey, Virginia was the daughter of the late Clarence and Ida (nee Williams) Sanders. Prior to retiring, Virginia was the property manager of Trisha Meadows in Mount Laurel. She was an active member of the Mount Laurel Women's Club and participated in many of the social activities.
A strong willed, independent lady, Virginia was fashionable and always dressed to the nines. She had a strong work ethic and enjoyed shopping, yard sales and going to flea markets. With her competitive nature, Virginia enjoyed playing cards as well as Majong with friends. Virginia was dedicated to her family and nothing brought her more joy than spending time with her family in North Wildwood and making treasured memories.
Beloved mother of Dawn M Bay (the late Christopher); loving grandmother of Dana (Matt) Kondrla, Matthew Bay and cherished great grandmother "Gigi" of Jaxson and Liv; dear aunt of Douglas (Kelly) Sanders and Sierra Sanders. Virginia is also survived by her dear friends, Mary Maloney and Jim Verdon and predeceased by her brother C. Clarence Sanders.
Relatives and friends are invited to Virginia's visitation on Friday, February 16, 2024, 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, New Jersey 08054, with a Memorial Service to follow at 12:00 PM.
