Obituary for Vivian A Campisciano
Vivian Campisciano (nee LaGattuta), age 84, of Moorestown, NJ passed away peacefully on January 27, 2024.
Vivian was born August 23, 1939 at Bensonhurst Maternity Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, to the late Ben and Mary LaGattuta. She was raised with her four sisters, Catherine, Mary, Ann, and Benita. She attended Garden City High School where she became president of the “Masquers” Acting Club and was a member of the National Honors Society. She attended business college in Long Island and subsequently worked for J. Walter Thompson Advertising Company in New York City for a number of years.
She was married in 1964 to Vincent Campisciano, who survives her, and worked as his Orthodontic Office Manager in Cinnaminson, NJ for forty-three years. She is also survived by their son, Vincent, a daughter-in-law, Susan McMerty, and three grandchildren, Gregory, Kylie, and Claudie.
Before her illness, Vivian was a member of the Women’s Club and the Moorestown Field Club; where she played on the spring and summer tennis teams. Vivian battled a long-term illness with Alzheimer’s and eventually had to enter a nursing home at Care One Harmony Village in 2017, where she spent her last years.
Friends and relatives are welcome to her visitation on Thursday, February 1, 2024 from 12:00-1:00PM, and her funeral service immediately following at 1:00PM. Both will be held at Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054. Interment will follow services at Jesus, Bread of Life Cemetery, 3055 Fostertown Road, Mt. Laurel, NJ 08054
