William R. Boback, 90, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2023, in Moorestown, New Jersey. Born in Scranton, Pennsylvania, he proudly served in the U.S. Navy from 1952-1956. Later in life, his career brought him to Union Pacific Railroad where he spent many years until retirement.

Known for his positive outlook, William had an enduring love for the simple joys of life. A caring and kind gentleman, his compassion extended not only to his family but to everyone he encountered. Beyond this, William was an enthusiast of UFO phenomena and channeled his curiosity into authoring three books on spirituality.

Beloved husband of the late Elaine (nee Tillchock); loving father of Donna (Jon) Lopes and Debby (Richard) Bowe; cherished grandfather of Jonathan and Alexandra Lopes and Amanda and Christopher Cohen. William is predeceased by his parents, William and Helen (nee Driscoll) Boback.

His life was a testament to his kind nature and the positive impact one individual can have on the lives of many. He will be dearly missed.
