Obituary for William J. Brown
William J. Brown, a longtime Mount Laurel resident, died January 3, 2022.
He was born in Clifton Heights, PA. Graduating from West Catholic High School, Kings College, Wilkes Barre and Central Michigan University. He was discharged from the Army in 1956. He worked 40+ years for the US Government with the Army, HUD and Navy as an auditor, retiring December 31, 1995. He was a longtime member of OLGC, a Eucharistic Minister and 3rd degree K of C.
Surviving are his wife, Joan (nee Schoenstein), his sons, William (Jennifer), Michael (Millicent) and daughter Eileen (Dennis). His grandchildren Sean Lurty, Christine, Patrick and Conrad Brown will sadly miss him. William was predeceased by his brothers Frank (Chris), Robert (Germaine) and James (Sue) and his sister Marie Walker (Edward).
Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 42 W. Main Street, Moorestown, NJ 08057. The family requests that donations be made to OLGC, address above, or the Sisters of Life, 38 Montibello Road, Suffern, NY 10901.
