Obituary for Janet Elaine DaGrosa (Boring)

Janet Elaine DaGrosa (nee Boring), 81, of Cinnaminson, New Jersey, passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018.

Mrs. DaGrosa was born in Johnstown, PA. She was a graduate of Penn Hall Junior College and attended Drexel University. She was a long time employee of Lord & Taylors in Moorestown, NJ and a member of the Moorestown Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Anthony DaGrosa, Sr.; children, Anthony, Jr. (Kay), Pamela Cole (Philip), Scott (Karyn), and Karen Ejdys; grandchildren, Jennifer, Anthony, Courtney, Danielle, Rachel, Troy and Alina; great-grandchildren, Grayson, Penelope and Flynn; dear cousins Carol Baierl and Sally Hawthorne, her many nieces and nephew as well as her beloved companion Muffy.

A church service for family and friends will be held 10am on Wednesday, September 26 at the First Presbyterian Church of Moorestown, on Bridgeboro Road, Moorestown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, PA.

I am just learning of this 2 years later but I am so sorry to learn of the death of Janet. I, and my family, were next door neighbors to Janet's mother Evilyn Boring for about 50 years in Johnstown Pa and I remember growing up with the grand kids often coming to visit Grandma during the summer and all of us growing up together. My most heartfelt condolences to Janet's family even years later as I hope they find peace in the memory of good times past.

To the DaGrosa family,
I, as we all, can not believe Janet's passing happened so suddenly.
I first met Janet at Lord And Taylor's where she was so passionate and dedicated about her work. Janet could display the suits and dresses and help the ladies find their best look like no other.
Janet was my fun loving friend. She was always ready to go and enjoy herself, always dressed to the nines, always had a great story, and was always there when I needed her.
Janet loved her family, heradorable Muffy and her Starbucks and talked about them often. She sometimes couldn't get her phone to cooperate, but she knew how to use her phone to pay for her coffee.
My friend enjoyed her life and she lived it the way she wanted. She never complained about her illness or let it interfere with her daily life.
Janet was a woman to look up to for her dedication, perseverance, and strength. I learned so much from her and she will be missed. I feel lucky that I was her friend.
