Denis MJ Georgel, age 77, of Rancocas, NJ passed away in the comfort of his own home while surrounded by loving family on Monday, January 22, 2018.

Mr. Georgel was born and raised in France and had lived in Willingboro, NJ before moving to Rancocas. Denis always maintained an appreciation for his French heritage and was a former co-owner of La Panetière Bakery in Mount Laurel. He was an avid gardener and also enjoyed cooking and fishing in his leisure. But above all else, he really loved spending time with his family and will be deeply missed by those he leaves behind.

Denis is survived by his beloved spouse of 53 years, Françoise (nee Géhin) Georgel; children, Laurie Georgel-Terzano and Christopher Georgel; grandchildren, Gabrielle and Stephanie Terzano, Nicholas and Daniel Georgel; sister, Marie-odile Toussaint; brothers, Gerard Georgel, Jean-Paul Georgel and Etienne Georgel, step-brothers, Philippe and Didier Georgel. He was predeceased by his parents, Paul and Jeanne Georgel; step-mother, Marguerite Georgel; brother, François Georgel; step-sister, Dominique Grand-Demange.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Sunday, January 28th from 4:00 to 7:00 PM and again on Monday, January 29th from 9:30 to 10:30 AM, both at the Mount Laurel Home for Funerals, 212 Ark Road, Mount Laurel, NJ. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 AM on Monday, January 29th at Our Lady Queen of Peace Roman Catholic Church, 1603 Marne Highway, Hainesport, NJ. Final disposition will be private.
