Obituary for Diane O'Brien (Brower)
Diane Elizabeth O’Brien of Mount Laurel, NJ passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018 under the loving care of her son, Collin O’Brien. She was 67.
Diane was the daughter of the late Estelle Vivian Hennicke Brower and the late John Snyder Brower. She is survived by her son Collin O’Brien and daughter-in-law Meredith O’Brien; cousins, Jim Lennox, Jerry Lennox and Susan Merentini.
As a longtime member of Medford United Methodist Church and a School nurse for more than 25 years at Hampton Academy in Westampton, NJ, Diane spent her life helping others. Diane also spent a number of years as the nurse at Mount Holly Children’s Home. She received her nursing certificate from Rowan Collage, attended Nursing school at the Ann May Center for Nursing at Jersey Shore Medical Center, and her Bachelor of Science degree from Stockton State College. Diane was a 1968 graduate of Bordentown High School. Her interests include movies, books and church outreach.
Diane’s tremendous faith in the Lord was the guiding force in her life and beautifully evident to all who know her. She loved greatly and was loved deeply and now, she’s an angel watching over us from Heaven.
A memorial service for Diane will be held 11:00 AM this Saturday March 3, 2018 at Medford United Methodist Church, 2 Hartford Road, Medford, New Jersey. Final disposition will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations, in Diane’s name, can be made to the Church at the address above.
