Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Dorothy Peoples can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Dorothy Peoples

Dorothy Teresa Peoples (nee DeLaurentis), age 86, of Mount Laurel, NJ passed away on Monday, April 18, 2016 at Virtua Hospital in Voorhees, NJ. Mrs. Peoples was born in Philadelphia, PA and lived in Magnolia, NJ before moving to Mount Laurel 18 years ago.  She graduated from Little Flower Catholic High School in Philadelphia.  For 20 years, she worked as a legal secretary, retiring in 1995 having last worked for Archer & Greiner, in Haddonfield, NJ.  Mrs. Peoples was a longtime parishioner of Saint John Neumann Roman Catholic Church.     Mrs. Peoples was preceded in death by her beloved husband, David R., in 1998.  She is survived by her sons David G. (Marilyn) and Ronald W. (Pamela); daughter Stephanie DeCarolis; 6 grandchildren, Michelle, Lauren, Christie, Lori, Ryan, and Sarah; and 2 great-grandchildren, Emily and Alyson. The funeral liturgy will be celebrated 11:30 AM on Friday, April 22, 2016 at Saint John Neumann Roman Catholic Church, 560 Walton Ave, Mount Laurel.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made, in Dorothy’s name, to EWTN Global Catholic Network https://donations.ewtn.com/p-1-support-ewtn.aspx
