Obituary for Elizabeth Dolores Rizzuto
Elizabeth Dolores Rizzuto (nee Kushner), of Mount Laurel, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 10, 2018, in her home with Rita, Bill and Buster by her side. She was 89 years old.
Mrs. Rizzuto was born in Drifton, PA and had resided in Mount Laurel for 36 years. She was a devout Roman Catholic and was a communicant of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Hainesport, NJ. She was a Registered Nurse.
Betty was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dr. Paul A. Rizzuto, MD, whom she lovingly cared for for so many years; and her siblings, George Kushner, Edward Kushner, and Rita Yanochko. Surviving are her children, AnnaLisa Gallagher (Ronald), Rita Long (William), Paul Rizzuto (Barbara), and George Rizzuto (Geralyn); grandchildren, Sean Paul, Vincent George (Elizabeth), Dana Marie, Paul Arthur, Nicholas Carl, Ryan Matthew, Devon Lynn (John) and Julia Maria; and very dear friends and her very special grand-dog Buster.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM, followed immediately by the Funeral Mass, both at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 1603 Marne Highway, Hainesport, NJ 08036. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville, PA. Memorial donations can be made to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, at the address above, or to the Sisters of Saint Francis Foundation, 609 Convent Road, Aston, PA 19014. Arrangements by Mount Laurel Home for Funerals.
