Obituary for Ernest Taft Chernin
Ernest T. Chernin
Ernest Taft Chernin, 88 of Mount Laurel, NJ, passed away peacefully on Tuesday August 21, 2018 at home.
Mr. Chernin was born and raised in New Haven, Connecticut. He resided in Willingboro, NJ before moving to Mount Laurel 14 years ago. Ernest honorably served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. In his spare time Mr. Chernin enjoyed playing pinochle.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elayne Chernin, in 2016. He is survived by his daughters, Betsy C. Brown and Roni Chernin.
All are invited to a chapel service with military honors on August 27, 2018,10:00 AM at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Memorial Cemetery, Wrightstown NJ.
